Standard Crops

Pea Shoots

Pea microgreens (also known as pea shoots) are great in salads and can be eaten shortly after they have grown their first or second set of true leaves, however, I like to wait until they start to show their little feelers. You know, the grabbers that lead the plant up a trellis. A healthy crop will have green stems. The flavor is a sweet, fresh pea taste with crunchy and succulent textures combined to give the pallet a real treat.

Sunflower

Sunflower seeds are some of the best seeds for microgreens beginners! Their shoots are clean, odorless, and an ideal crop for quick and easy countertop microgreens. They offer more flavor, texture, crunch, and sweetness than other microgreen seed varieties.

Wheatgrass

Growing your own wheat grass can be rewarding and so much fun. It is very easy to learn and is great for grinding into whole wheat flour. Outstanding choice for food storage.

Spicy Salad Blend

A mix of Broccoli, Kale, Kohlrabi, Arugula, Red Cabbage & Mustard for an extra kick, these seeds make a great base for any microgreens salad, sandwich, etc... The greens grow well together and have similar germination and harvest times so there's not so much worry about rot.

Basic Salad Blend

This blend of salad microgreens contains a few of the more conventional seed types You'll get Waltham 29 Broccoli, Vates Blue Scotch Curled Kale, Purple Vienna Kohlrabi, Slow Bolt Arugula & Red Acre Cabbage. A flavorful and colorful combination of microgreens with mostly green with purple and red highlights, it is considered one of the easier microgreens crops to grow.

Radish

Radish is a green with an intense radish flavor. Great in any microgreen or full-sized salad. Use in any dish in place of sliced radish. Radish is fast and easy to grow.

Broccoli

Broccoli makes an excellent microgreen, as it is one of the easiest crops to grow. It has a deliciously mild, fresh brocolli or cabbage flavor and makes a great garnish and addition to any microgreens salad.

Kale

Kale is an extremely nutrient dense food source. With microgreens you can receive all of the health benefits of kale and avoid the sometimes bitter taste that comes with full grown kale. Some of the health benefits of this amazing vegetable include: antioxidants that reduce free radicals, which aids in cancer prevention; Anti-inflammatory, which reduces swelling and pain in the body; Fortifies immune system and improves brain health

Romaine

Begin tasting microgreens to mark the change in flavor as they mature, so you'll know when you like to harvest them. The great thing about lettuce microgreens is that you can let them grow to baby green stage, harvesting them anytime between. Avoid too much heat and humidity.

Mesclun

Thia succulent blend of gourmet greens will satisfy your pallet and is extremely healthy. Although this blend is popular with restaurants, you can grow these baby greens at home in as little as 4 weeks. as these are some of the simplest, hardiest, and quickest veggies to cultivate. When baby greens are enjoyed at their younger stages they are more tender. Their tiny bite size is packed with flavor and ideal for salads or sandwiches and as a garnish.

Cabbage

Also known as Brassica oleracea but often called: Pak Choi, Bok Choy; Red Acre Cabbage is easy to grow and fast! It grows well in soil or on hydroponic mediums. Cabbage micro greens go well on sandwiches and in wraps! You'll see green leaves with violet to red highlights throughout. This microgreen has a strong broccoli/cabbage flavor but is still rather soft and fresh.
