Sunflower seeds are some of the best seeds for microgreens beginners! Their shoots are clean, odorless, and an ideal crop for quick and easy countertop microgreens. They offer more flavor, texture, crunch, and sweetness than other microgreen seed varieties.

Sunflower
Sunflower microgreens are very easy to grow but only in soil. Growing sunflower greens is very difficult hydroponically and we don't recommend it but many growers do it. You just might not see the full yield like you might using soil. But nicely, it doesn't require a lot of it.
7-10 Days to maturity
soak: 3-6 hours in water
Moisten soil & cover your seeds for the next 3-4 days
Uncover and place in a well-lit location.
Maintain moist but not soaking wet soil and water as needed

Harvested
You may just want to eat your microgreens without having to wait for them to grow. Or maybe you just don't grow (even thought you can) so if this is you choice and you live within the pick up zone, click the button below, send me a message with your postal code and your request. If you live near I'll send you an invoice. This will not need to be paid however, we will need to get your order together. This contact will get that process started.

If your anything like me, you'll want to do it yourself. having this kind of control over your food is the best option. You'll need to follow the button below which leads to our partner company where we get our supplies. You're on your own from her and you might even find some awesome growers or other supplies..
