Also known as Brassica oleracea but often called: Pak Choi, Bok Choy; Red Acre Cabbage is easy to grow and fast! It grows well in soil or on hydroponic mediums. Cabbage micro greens go well on sandwiches and in wraps! You'll see green leaves with violet to red highlights throughout. This microgreen has a strong broccoli/cabbage flavor but is still rather soft and fresh.

If choosing to use soil, tamp and moisten it before spreading your microgreen seeds. Covering your crop with a thin layer of soil is optional but may be helpful as it will keep the seeds moist for longer. Conversely, you may also let your seeds germinate on the surface. Keep it dark with a black out dome or cover of some sort( I use another cupboard) for the first 3 days then remove it on day 4 and 5 to stress and strengthen the crop.

Harvested
You may just want to eat your microgreens without having to wait for them to grow. Or maybe you just don't grow (even thought you can) so if this is you choice and you live within the pick up zone, click the button below, send me a message with your postal code and your request. If you live near I'll send you an invoice. This will not need to be paid however, we will need to get your order together. This contact will get that process started.

If your anything like me, you'll want to do it yourself. having this kind of control over your food is the best option. You'll need to follow the button below which leads to our partner company where we get our supplies. You're on your own from her and you might even find some awesome growers or other supplies..
